Throughout American Diabetes Month, whenever you shop at your local Walgreens you’ll have the opportunity to donate to the Stop Diabetes Movement! Walgreens stores across the country are helping us raise awareness and funding through a “PIN pad” fundraising promotion. Simply use your debit or credit card to make your everyday purchases and you’ll be asked if you would like to donate to the American Diabetes Association. This November, don’t forget to shop at Walgreens to help us Stop Diabetes! In addition, throughout the remainder of 2014, the Association is working with Walgreens to spread the word about their new Balance® Rewards Program. It’s the first retail program that rewards you for the healthy choices you make—behaviors such as walking, running, testing your blood pressure and your blood glucose*. For every American Diabetes Association supporter that joins, Walgreens will donate $1, up to $50,000, to the Association. Sign up today and help us get a step closer to stopping diabetes!
