Black History MonthHelp Stop Diabetes During Black History Month
Diabetes is a devastating reality in the African American community. There are nearly 5 million non-Hispanic African Americans, aged 20 years or older, living with diabetes. This month, the Association wants to call attention to these staggering numbers and the importance of preventing type 2 diabetes as well as managing one’s disease. During Black History Month, join us in the fight to Stop Diabetes® by incorporating healthy eating and physical activity in your life and speaking on behalf of those who are discriminated against because of their disease.
