Wellness Lives HereSM is our new health initiative, with a focus on inspiring and fueling healthy habits in the workplace and daily life. As May is National Physical Fitness and Sports Month, we kicked off our call to get up and get moving toward better health with May 6’s inaugural National Get Fit Don’t Sit Day. National Get Fit Don’t Sit Day serves as a great reminder year round to engage in healthy lifestyle choices and limit the amount of time spent sitting by getting up at least every 90 minutes throughout the day.

We launched America’s Diabetes Challenge: Get to Your Goals, an important collaboration between the American Diabetes Association, Merck and celebrity Tim McGraw to help people with type 2 diabetes work with their doctor to get to their A1C goal.  If you have diabetes, take the challenge. Pledge to work with your doctor to set and reach your own A1C goal. Friends and caregivers are encouraged to challenge their loved ones to take the pledge and help support the millions of Americans living with this disease. Together, we can make a difference.
