In the aftermath of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, the Association convened eight leading diabetes organizations to provide support and resources to people with diabetes in the impacted areas. The most significant and accessible resources are two national phone lines for assistance: 1-800-DIABETES for people with diabetes; and 1-314-INSULIN for health care providers in need of diabetes supplies. | 
 Tell Congress: Fund Research!
More than 114 million people are living with diabetes or prediabetes, and critical research can lead to prevention programs, lifesaving treatments and a cure. Tell Congress to support funding for diabetes research at the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.

Join us on August 22 for a live Q&A with Association diabetes experts. The fourth Town Hall in our Living with Diabetes: Ask the Experts series will address blood glucose for beginners. The monthly sessions run through February 2018 and cover topics commonly faced by people living with diabetes.
