Andrea, thank you for your financial support! Your contributions provide support for people living with diabetes. Jim Saunders is one of the many people your support has helped.

When he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes four years ago, Jim refused to accept a lifetime of poor health and dialysis for his failing kidneys. He completely changed his lifestyle to take charge of his health, and this support and information provided to him by the American Diabetes Association was invaluable.

The changes Jim made didn't stop at diet and exercise—he also left his job of 17 years managing a wholesale distribution company to come work with us so that he can help others!

Jim will tell you, it's his calling to do this work. "This is where my heart is now," says Jim, "I am so thankful to give the gift to others that the ADA gave to me."

THANK YOU for your support and helping to make stories like Jim's possible!

Inspired to do more, like Jim was?

One way you can make a difference is by standing up to make insulin affordable for all who need it.

Insulin prices have TRIPLED in recent years, forcing more and more people living with diabetes to ration their insulin or do without other necessities in order to pay for this lifesaving drug. Will you take a moment to join us in calling for change?
