Andrea, research funding is an investment in people. It provides critical support so that talented scientists can continue to seek answers. Each year, we receive hundreds of promising research proposals. Unfortunately, we can only afford to fund a fraction of them.

Dr. Jane Reusch was one of those researchers. We are proud to say that ADA provided her first research grant some three decades ago. Dr. Reusch has since dedicated her career to diabetes research, working with patients, and mentoring young scientists.
