| ADA Celebrates 78 Years As the ADA recognizes its 78th anniversary, we honor the years of service and contributions of the many volunteers, donors, professionals, and sponsors who have been a part of our historical journey. We are grateful for the relationships established over the years and the work that we have done together to move the ADA forward and serve the millions of Americans living with diabetes. Insulin use & CDLs ADA fights for people with diabetes and just notched a big win for workers: federal law no longer bans insulin use by commercial drivers with diabetes—meaning truckers, bus drivers and construction workers with diabetes won't lose their jobs just because they use insulin!   Access patient resources America’s Diabetes Challenge (ADC), a program from Merck and the ADA, heard from the T2D community and identified some common challenges, like eating healthy, exercising, sticking to a treatment plan, and coping with the disease.
